Backroom staff released by the club.

Just heard that Pat Whelan (goalkeeping coach) and Declan Farmer (1st team coach) have been released by the club. The news was broadcast on Live 95fm on Tuesday morning.Ok so what are the reasons for their departures, if its for financial reasons WHYwere they taken on in the first place??????? Also with the transfer window due to close soon any news on a striker coming in..............could we get Steve O'Flynn on loan till the end of the season, he hasn't been getting a sniff at Derry since he joined them.

He's been in around the edge of the team and he has played a fair bit on and off. I don't think we'd get him to be honest.

As for the two staff being left go... it looks like penny-pinching to me... still NOC and Aidan Ryan remain so there's no cause whatsoever for concern right?
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Any chance of letting Aidan Ryan go too? Just for the financial benifits to the club of course.

Just when you thought this regime couldn't get any worse Drew & Noel O'Connor go and do this. Do we get an explanation, of course not, why should we, we're only 'scumbag' fans after all. They management have clearly lost the plot. Getting rid of people who are helping to make Limerick a professional outfit again is absolutely ridiculious. It seems that NOC won't be happy until he has a bunch of YES men around him.

Its well know within the club that Declan Farmer was a very well qualified and respected member of the staff. I know for a fact that the players are gutted by the news (I wonder would they have the same reaction if NOC got the chop and Mike Kerley was returned) Of course no-one can say anything because that seems ensure a one-way ticket out of Limerick FC.

Surely its time that the fans and the management had a formal meeting so a few reasons were given for these recent decisions.

Finally for our 'beloved 'manager, just because you take a few courses in psychology doesn’t mean you know how to deal with players. Leave that to the professionals please.
