Id go but, i dont have the time or the money but thanks to that comment Shelsman ill be supporting you in spirit and in front of the Telly. Theres ment to be alot of Romanians in Dublin who are going to be going to da game.
Bohs / Pats / Rovers / DC / UCD / Bray
Kildare / Athlone / Longford / Kilkenny
Dundalk / Drogheda
Monaghan / Derry / Finn Harps / Sligo
Galway / Limerick
Cork / Waterford / Cobh
Shels!
I'd love to go (actually I wouldn't - c'mon Steaua) - but I'd rather go and watch Carmarthen Town vs. Longford Town (which I will be).
Kom Igen, FCK...

According to Aertel the Romanian community are showing a big interest in attending this one. I wonder if they're just stirring up hype. Last week Aertel had a headline a few days before the game "Tickets still available for Glentoran game" as if they were near sell out.

Oilys probably harassing the Aertel folks for free publicity as usual.Originally Posted by Poor Student

We're not arrogant, we're just better.
I'll be supporting Steau from the barstoll. Loads of room as they'll make up the majority of the crowd in Tolka
I'd go if I was going to be in Ireland. I fly to Czech Republic that day for a short break. The Romanians will come out in numbers. Hundreds of them came out to see the Romanian women's team take on Ireland's women in Tolka Park two years ago.
i would have loved to have gone. I believe shels are doing wonders for Irish footbll in europe. I was at the Deportivo game last year. a game shels should have won.

Excellent stuff. hopefully we'll get promotion and be playing likes of shels week in week out. all the best for the steau game. That's OK, I always considered Sligo Rovers as my second team ( even to the extent of buying the Sligo Champion in Easons when Willie McStay was in charge -they were an impressive club at the time, especially in terms of the support they got ). if I win the Euromillions tonight and Shels don't want my money I might just pump a few mil into the bit o' red!
Let them in, then if we lose, have the Gards check their credentials on the way out and out and if they fail then straight onto the bus to Dublin Airport and send a few plane loads home!Originally Posted by CollegeTillIDie

Would be going but am working nights and all my days off have been booked up till Christmas...What with Cyprus away and midweek celebrations after French Match.
So will there be more Steau fans than Shels fans in Tolka then? Hearing that 6000 tickets are already sold, and we all know that ain't all Shels support, or anywhere near it.
No chance. Certainly many of the fans there will not be Shels supporters but will be EL fans like myself supporting shels o nthe night as per any of our clubs in Europe. You will also get the floating football fan who would probably never go to EL games going along to see Steau.Originally Posted by Hibs4Ever
Shels like all clubs have "big game" fans.
This is true, I'm going with a group of seven. Three of us go all the time, one other goes to 6-8 games a year, one other just follows Shels in Europe (my dad an ex-St Francis fan), and two are making their debuts at an Eircom League ground. Hopefully, we will get them back for at least a few league games.Originally Posted by gspain
True! When you think that Lansdowne sold out last year ( 24,000 seated ) about 3 days before the game it just goes to show what's possible...Originally Posted by gspain
