Wexford dominated possession in Ferrycarrig this afternoon but found it hard to create chances against an improving Treaty team well organised by manager, Don O’Riordan. Wexford started with Maeve, Grace, Nicola, Della, Emma, Becky, Aoibheann, Teegan, Ellen, Rossi and Kylie. Wexford looked the better side during the first half but only had a goal to show for their dominance. This came when Ellen Molloy became provider for Kylie Murphy to head home for 1-0. Maeve Williams had to be alert a few times in the Wexford goal and did particularly well on one occasion to prevent a Treaty player from getting a dangerous shot on target. 1-0 to Wexford at half-time.

Wexford brought on Kiev Gray and Lauren Dwyer at half-time with Lauren impressing with her ability to distribute well from the middle of Wexford’s defence. Wexford were able to add only two further goals during this half with Ellen Molloy finishing well with her right foot for 2-0 and Kylie getting another header for 3-0. Further subs for Wexford during this half were Lolly Conlon, Cliodhna Donnelly and Freya Roche. 3-0 to Wexford at full-time. Best for Wexford were the goal-scorers, Kylie and Ellen, with Della and Becky also doing well and Lauren adding to the team during the second forty-five.
