Our Euro ties down the years

I'm away on hols next week and for the first time will not be attending a Cork City home European game.

The ones I have been at were:

1989 Torpedo Moscow 0-1 They let us off easy after a 5-0 win in the firstleg
1991 Bayern 1-1. What can I say? Davey B- LEGEND
1993 Cwmbran 2-1. Lucky enough to go through on away goals. Shed sucked in the winner.
1993 Galatasary 0-1. Could have won this. Remember how delighted they were to win.
1994 Slavia Prague 0-4. Destroyed us. Did Patrick Berger play? Johnny C missed a sitter
    1997 Standard Liege 0-0
1997 Koln 0-2 Toni Polster got 2. Johnny C misses another sitter
1998 CSKA Kyiv 2-1. Half time 2-0 lead lost only in the last minute. Atmosphere leaving the ground was like we lost
1999 IFK Goteborg 1-0. Goal from Skippy. Lost first leg 3-0 and never looked like reversing it
2000 Lausanne - I know we lost it but can't remember result. 0-1?
2001 Metalurgs Liepajas 0-1. Embarrasing. They were cat. We were worse. Skippy misses a lat minute peno.
2004 - Malmo. 3-1.Didn't expect much but a great win and performance
2004 - NEC 1-0. Another great performance and deserved win
2004 Nantes 1-1. Players excelled themselves again against a good team.
    I'm what? I'm ants at a picnic?

1991 Bayern 1-1. Effenbergs "uncle" comments, poor atmosphere in rugby ground.
1993 Cwmbran 2-1. Dominant but lucky. Shed sucked in the winner.
1993 Galatasary 0-1. Really should have scored before sucker punch in last 20 minutes by Hakan Suker.
1994 Slavia Prague 0-4. Destroyed us. Best European performance by visitors i've ever seen. Think they had 3-4 internationals including Berger, Poborsky
    1997 Standard Liege 0-0
1997 Koln 0-2 Polster got lot of stick from the shed, then blasted in 25 yarder & shed was silent.
1998 CSKA Kyiv 2-1. Raced into 2-0 lead live on tv. Tired cos no summer football.
1999 IFK Goteborg 1-0. They didn't seem to worried to lose by 1 goal.
2000 Lausanne 0-1 Shed was closed, never looked like winning conceded in 2nd half.
2001 Metalurgs Liepajas 0-1. Embarrasing. Bennet made debut coming off bench & header over bar when easier to score.
    2004 -
Malmo (H). 3-1.Didn't expect much but a great win and performance. Malmo shocked.
Malmo (A). 1-0. Malmo cocky, Game over when city scored.
    2004
NEC (A) Lot of defending but dutch didn't dominate either.
NEC (H) 1-0. Cautious tactics, almost conceded in last few minutes but for Devine save.
    2004
Nantes (H) 1-3 Home side dominated, City held in there until got away goal.
Nantes (A) 1-1. Could have made score 2-0 before away goal but Nantes better team.
    2005
Ekranas (A) 2-0. Recovered from keeper injury to score 2 Good goals. City better team.

    I think:

    Liege and Koln at home
Maccabi Petah Tikva and Aarau away

All 0-0 except for Koln game.

1997 Standard Liege - one thing memorable from this one was when the Belgians started warming up in front of the shed to the tune of the Can-Can
