    Support for the League

After all the bitching on here in recent times about the media not doing anything to enhance our league's reputation, eircom have done something.

Farrelly launches eircom League info line

    It's a start...........

Good news. Wonder how much an effect it will actually have. But anything is better than nothing.

    Thumbs up

six-week radio advertising campaign and promotion of the League which is being carried on the 1.2 million eircom bills being sent to households throughout Ireland during July and August.
    That sounds good.

I don't know how succsesful the info line will work but the advertising on the bills might prove to be very handy for the EL.

I wonder would eircom ever think about doing something along the lines of what Gaelic Telecom have done ? bill payers nominate a GAA club of there choice and a small % of the bill goes directly to the club.

Even if they gave something as small as 5% out of every bill then it would make nsuch massive differences to all clubs
