Something like 761 at LTFC v Galway, bar the Bray game which was a Monday night, that's 600+ at both of our home matches so far. Encouraging, although lack of atmosphere is disappointing.

I've been corrected by someone who would know with absolute certainty. 371 Waterford tickets scanned.
I forgot that they put in wheel chair sections at the back of two sections of the St. Anne's end which would reduce capacity from the 560 they used yo hold. Add in a barrier blocking the first couple of rows and that probably reduces capacity of each section to 400ish.
It looked completely overstuffed but maybe there were pockets of empty space in the middle. Maybe some Waterford fans with home tickets in addition to the 371.

Not a league game but 462 at Turners Cross for a Munster Senior Cup game vs Midleton.

Couldn't tell you much about Leinster but i love the Munster Senior Cup. It has a tonne of history, dating back to the 1870s, where it was won by q bunch of military teams including some FA Cup finalists/winners.
I think it was played continuously for close to a century unbroken before Covid. The only previous break being from the start of WW1 until just after independence.
It's also probably my favourite trophy in Irish football aesthetically.
City have the most wins with 18, but we don't win it consistently enough for me. We tend to play our kids once the league season starts. We had a very young team out last night.

I hope they bring back the Leinster Senior cup. I think it’s a handy competition to give the back up and U-19’s lads a game.

No, its Dundalk's to keep, we won it in 2019 so now the holders 3 seasons running, FAI currently checking out if this constitutes a treble to go with the actual double of 2018 and mini double of 2019 (League and LC), Derry keeping close tabs on the events.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).

2,053 at Dundalk v UCD, not sure I have ever seen a league game in Oriel Park with zero away fans, away terrace was empty, unless a few went to the stand.

Regardless of any away support, or the opposition this was still over 600 less than the lowest so far this season (2,676 v Finn Harps) so its a little disappointing, however the other two home games were over 3,500 but then again both had significant away support in Derry and Rovers, and with respect to other clubs, a better attraction for local fans.

In summary if just over 1,500 season tickets were sold (heard this was the figure), its still only 500 + deciding to go to the game, but on plus side, this could be the lowest crowd of the season, not guaranteed, but if that was just over 2k its not too bad I suppose.

Probably about 1800 at the Harps match. Couple of hundred Rovers fans.

I heard it was 1492 at Waterford v Longford. Crowd down on first couple of games with poor results and style of football.

Great crowd there last night 1759 with little or no away fans. The curry and coffee is a huge hit

Crowds starting to settle down a bit now, after the initial opening flurry ?

The usual start of season hope starting to hit reality for supporters of a few clubs, plus the drudgery of supporting across a whole season, is bound to see crowds tailing off at places. On the plus side though, the good weather and longer evenings are starting to creep through as well.

Only 1305, minus some comps. Seemed like more in the ground, but crowds certainly dying a bit. Three home games in a week won't help it. Doubt if it'll break 1,000 on Monday night, especially with our poor start to the season.

Extratime.com have Pats Drogheda down as a 3,000 estimate. I’d agree that’s pretty accurate, decent crowd considering the rain. Around 150 Drogs fans but in terms of consistent atmosphere they were the best visiting fans in Richmond this year so far (Sligo, Shamrock and UCD being the other home games up to now)

Serenading Clancy and the players he poached from Drogs? I'd say it could be a raucous and testy affair next Friday in Richmond.

Gaa crowds are also down a lot in recent weeks. Saying that the Kerry v Mayo football league final on telly now now looks decent considering how the Gaa treats the competition. Be interesting if the cost of living increases will effect attendances in the coming weeks, surely it will for away fans(transport, accommodation etc).

For sure, even though its on RTE, there will be a very large crowd going from Dundalk.

PS honest question Pats fans, whatever happened to that court case application against SOD, has it just not made it to a hearing or been pulled ?

It provided off season entertainment for a while but has gone very quiet. I haven’t heard it mentioned since the season started. There is no doubt that he will get serious stick next week but things have moved on in the overall picture. We are just concentrating on the new side and management team. I’d imagine Mr K has been focusing his energy on the new film he is involved in and the Pakistan partnership. I’d say it will see its day in court eventually.
