If both leagues growing at a rate of 32% doesn't lead to an All-Ireland League (if not a united Ireland) we might as well give up. Written in the stars!
Many Thanks for that (I should have scrolled back another couple of pages!).
Anyhow, aside from the PD's absolute attendances - seriously impressive, btw - I was struck by the 32% increase from 2019.
For in NI, the Premiership saw an increase in 2021/22 over 2018/19 (previous non-Covid season) of.... 32%!
This worked out at an average of 1,440 per club, over the full 12 clubs i.e. half of what the 10 PD clubs have been getting.

Surprised to see 821 at Finn Park tonight considering our form, the usual mid summer dip in attendances, and the lack of buzz about the club at the minute.

984 at Waterford v Bray which is our lowest home crowd of the season.
7,445 in Tallaght

UCD-Derry City: 500 is the estimate.
It was nowhere near that.

No harm, but if you reckon it was barely 100, then we can ignore your count!
I think id park DCWA's count of 100 up there with his assertion that Derry are going to win the league at a canter this year.
I hear James McClean is definitely on his way too.
Fwiw, programme sales indicate 400-500 of a crowd. Not a massively scientific metric, but they can be quite consistent all the same.
Definitely lower than the Sligo game before the break
Update prior to tonights matches.

Now now, in the predictions thread I have Derry 2nd and Rovers 1st. Even that 2nd is now taking on a distinctly wishful appearance.
What I maintained was, when Derry were playing well, there was only one good team in the league. Clearly we are now back to where we were last year as a league in that there are 0 again.
St. Patrick's Athletic 1-2 Shamrock Rovers

Did it looked as packed on LOITV or was anyone there to comment!
