    Thumbs down Utd 1-4 Cobh

Ah well I didnt expect much after hearing O'Brien , Billy and fortune were all suspende for this game. But 4-1 was a bit disgraceful. At least Barry converted from the spot, its about time he starts gettin a few goals
Hopefully well win against Monaghan with Clery and co. coming back

So ye had a midfielder in goal for the last 32 minutes of the game and they couldn't even score one more?

Our defeat to Kilkenny doesn't seem as bad now,.

We missed Fortune big time yesterday

and Billy. The midfield was a mess and although it worked in Kildare Davie O'Dowd was at sea for the time he was on.We should have pushed him up front after the keeper was sent off and played 3 at the back but Stephen was missed big time on the bench.

The 1st goal was shocking Davin O'Brien was totally unmarked at the back stick and had all day to head it home,Marcin was badly at fault for the second his mistimed header put Kieran O'Reilly through and he made no mistake, Marcin was skinned by O'reilly for the third and his cross was knocked in by Nigel and the fourth came after we had a good shout for another penalty and were caught with everyone pushing on.

The crucial point in the game was the dissallowed goal at the end of the 1st half from where we were it looked a perfectly good goal but Graham Kelly thought otherwise.

Nice to see Pat Kelly reads the posts on our board I wonder why guilt perhaps!!!!!

Last result i expected was a 4-1 hammering especially with the way we were playing of late but with 3 games in 6 days against Monaghan,Athlone and Kilkenny 9 points is a must with Sligo and Dublin the following 2 games.

    report from elevenaside.com

    Cobh Ramblers 4-1 Galway United

Kieran O’Reilly became the first striker to break the 10-goal barrier in
the eircom League this season as Cobh Ramblers climbed back into the
top three at St Colman’s Park on Sunday afternoon.

O’Reilly is the clear top marksman in the First Division, and he was a
real menace throughout the 90 minutes to help his side to the three
    points on Sunday.

Davin O’Neill opened the scoring from a Kenny Coleman cross just before
the half-hour and O’Reilly fired his 10th of the season to make it 2-0
    before half-time.

His cross was deflected past Galway keeper Alan Gough after the break
as Cobh opened up a 3-0 lead.

The visitors were handed a lifeline when Cobh keeper Alan O’Shea was
sent off on the hour and Barry Moran converted the penalty kick – but
they were unable to add to that and Coleman struck a cracking fourth
    just before the finish.
