    Man City VS Bolton

Stephen Ireland makes his first start, Richard Dunne captains the side for the second time (first time was last Friday VS Tranmere).

Karl Bermingham and Willo Flood on the bench

    From man city's site here

Didn't realise Stephen Ireland was only 16!!

Joey O'Brien is on the bench for Bolton

Think that might be wrong, he is at least 18-19 I'd say.

From the list on the sticky he's 18, I think I got that from Football Manager. according to the official site his dob is 22/8/1988 which makes him 16 until next month.

Willo Flood scored his pentalty in the shootout, though it was close - hit the post and in. I missed all but the last 2 mins of the match, but I think O'Brien got on aswell.

Kilbane also took and scored his penalty in the shootout with Thailand u-23's.

Dunne captained Man City and was substituted midway through the second half, Ireland started in midfield.
Willo came on and scored his penalty, Bermingham came on for the last ten minutes in place of Ireland and also scored his penalty.

Not sure where Flood played, Croft came on at the same time and is a dedicated right winger, so I presume Willo went on the left?

Joey O'Brien played the second half for Bolton

Am I right in saying that Ireland does not currently want to play for us anymore after he had a fight with Brian Kerr when he was playing for the u17s ... If this is correct we should do all we can to get him back on board asap.

Don't know about any more, or ever again, but he had a falling out with Brian Kerr before a game in Cork a few years ago, more here

Fight between Dunne and Joey Barton in a hotel last night according to Sky Sports. I know who my money would be on there!! Pearce is laying the blame at Barton's feet, and given his history I'm not too surprised

Just watched the last 10 minutes of the first half between Everton and Man City. Kilbane is captaining Everton at left back. Willo Flood is playing in central midfield (the position I thought was his best before I seen him play). Karl Birmingham is also playing, I think he's up front with Andy Cole or probably on the right wing.

Didn't really see the match but can't comment on who played well but caught the penalties (after 1-1 full time). It was 3-1 to City. Kilbane had to score to keep it alive. He drilled it into the top right corner. 3-2. Willo Flood then stepped up. He hit it to the left and City won the match.
