    Cork City V Shelborne

When is this game fixed for? Should be some game, with a big crowd I'd imagine.

Scheduled for Friday Aug 12th but I think the UEFA cup has a game scheduled for that Thursday night so it will probably get moved to Monday 15th. Hopefully it won't take the attendance down too much.
The glass isn't half full or half empty it's just too damn big!

How come we don't play our rescheduled home games on Sundays? Surely we'd get a bigger crowd then, as more exiles down for weekends (like myself) could go?

I don't mind Monday night football. It gives us something too look forward to that day. Monday nights are boring and this match IMO would be ideal too have on Monday. I would think that a slitly better crowd would turn up on Sunday. I still perfer Monday night. This could be one that R.T.E could show if they have any brains up in those studios.

    Sunday 14 is All-Ireland semi-final against Clare.
Attendance at the Cross would be about 500!

Very good point, though I can remember in '93, City played at home, can't remember who against, on the day of the All-Ireland Football Final v Derry. Not sure what the crowd was as I was in Croke Park!

    That was a 12 noon kick-off though.
