The Real Problem with Derek McCarthy when he moved to Galway was his love of fast-food!!! He wasn't in shape for playing and probably didnt want to be either... its not only where he was playing.
Yeah he asked one of the fans once could he share his curry chips with him at half time!LOL! He was really unfit but he was such a waste of talent and he had great skills, but he never got goin at united.
