Jays, big let-off for Pohls there.
Think he may have been a bit unlucky as he won the initial challenge only for a Djurgardens to get the second ball as well.
But you also disagree with professional refereeing guidelines on what constitutes a promising attack, so...

He's too hesitant he doesn't know when to come and he should be coming

Djugardens aren't anything special. There's a lot left there for rovers to go and prove themselves as worthy group stage contenders

Better performance away from home for Rovers. Something to take into next season. Think I predicted them to get a couple points/draws before the group stage commenced, so not too bad of a campaign in my eyes.
I don't think so. "the key here is that these considerations (speed and space) relate to a promising attack which has the possibility of becoming a goal-scoring opportunity, and not simply every forward movement."
Are you on the edge of your seat when Sam Todd has the ball in his own half and goes past one man? Seasons must be rife with excitement.
Yeah, first solid away defensive performance since Hibernians, so that's something.
1 goal in 6 games is poor and will be a worry. They didn't really make the keeper work tonight I think, and similar could be said of previous games.
Did Djurgarden change their team around tonight? Heard the commentator say of their last sub that they were bringing on a forward they expected to start and taking off a guy they expected to be on the bench.
Still, an easy €4m, so the challenge is to build on that next season.
Literally the piece before that quote is -
This applies, and the video example is very comparable, so yellow card.Speed – The player(s) is (are) moving forward with pace in their attack.
Space – There should be green space in front of the player with the ball to dribble, pass or shoot and/or green space in front of other attackers would could receive the ball.
Options – Either the player with the ball has options to take on a defender or has other teammates to which he could pass the ball.
Leave it go...
Decent performance from Rovers. But only one other team in ANY European Competition (group stage) this year has managed just one goal. (Copenhagen)
They did make some changes but only 2 of their squad had started all 5 games prior to tonight. It seems they have rotated quite a bit in Europe.
For anyone that likes their stats, I saw something on Twitter earlier that they are the only unseeded side (from ECL Q2) to advance beyond the group stage. Maybe that changes after tonight’s other games but an excellent campaign for them so far.
The line I quoted is a clarification of those criteria. It was in no way a promising attack. If it was, every time a defender had the ball would be promising. The video shows a counter attack being stopped as he is breaking through towards the halfway line with multiple opposition players already out of the game whereas the Gent player was their last man, and wide on the right deep in their half. It's not at all the same. You picked the only video which has the attacker in their own half and they are in a far more "promising" position than the Gent lad.
Agree to disagree anyway. It was a stupid pull of the jersey and hurt us in the end.
21 leagues and 25 cups.
Starting today:
Widell Zetterström - Johansson, Danielson, Ekdal, Andersson - Finndell, Schüller, Eriksson - Asoro, Holmberg, Wikheim
Starting last league game:
Widell Zetterstrom - Johansson, Danielson, Ekdal, Andersson - Finndell, Schuller, Eriksson, Radetinac - Edvardsen, Wikheim
So two from their last league. And that's a strong league team.

No - the Gent player had gone past Feruzaj (before being cynically hauled back) and had space and options in front of him, so it's clearly not the case that every time the defender had the ball would be a promising attack.
Of course I did. Is that a complaint now - that the example I picked was too similar to Feruzaj? Yes, the video example is a more promising position, but that mean the Feruzaj example wasn't a promising attack.
The LOI finishes the season in 36th. That's 3 really strong consecutive years put together. This is the little mini group we find ourselves in on the co-efficient table.
30th will be about our ceiling for the foreseeable but it's definitely a reachable goal.

It flew by in the end. Wish we had a few more games.
With the WC coming up our European group stage only lasted for 56 days . In contrast, Dundalk's 2016 EL group stage went on for 85 days if I'm counting properly. 29 extra days to save for the away trips!
Good crowd in Sweden tonight all the same.
21 leagues and 25 cups.
