Hahaha wow. Just logging on now to watch the Sligo match. 1-0 up! Unexpected!!! Motherwell look like they are still on the last day of their holidays and will probably get a shellacking off the boss at H/T, so you'd expect them to really push in the 2nd half. Highlights are showing that they rode their luck before and during their goal, which was lovely. Hope they can hang on as that'd represent one of their better single tie Euro wins. Mad stuff.

Just tuned into the Pats game. We could really do with a bit of the pace they have with that new right back.

They are doing well. Plenty of pressure on the Mura goal.

Forrester equalizes for Pats. They've been pushing for it since the 2nd half started.

Ross Tierney on for Motherwell. What are the odds than an ex-LOI player does the business for them ... Sligo reasonably comfortable and getting a couple of half-chance opportunities along with some good breaks up the pitch. Pat's have seemed to do well this 2nd half. The Motherwell commentator is calling Shane Blaney as Blaney Shane, for some peculiar reason.

Motherwell starting to turn the screw, but moments ago Mata had a glorious chance to put Sligo 2 up, but fluffed it under pressure. To be fair he literally had just come on, so was no up to speed, but still... Commentators very receptive of Sligo's resoluteness and danger on the break. Loud boos now whenever Motherwell's attacks break down, which has been often this 2nd half.

It's going to be one of those nights isn't it? But they shouldn't be fearing them at all in Slovenia. That right back won't be in the LOI long looking at this performance

Mata header cleared of the line. Looked like a dodgy one, suspiciously like handball. Not given.

Disgraceful decision by the ref in the sligo game, an absolute stonewall handball on the line stopping a certain goal. Sligo are unlucky not to be further ahead. Motherwell are next door to absolute awful.
