Were you watching Murphy?
I hope Gunther saw Ireland at the cross last night. Then he would have seen defenders who can play the ball out of defence, midfielders who knew how to track back and play intelligent balls forward, and forwards who ran their hearts and souls out trying to get on the end of every ball. Us City fans got a bit of a culture shock when we saw the ball on the ground last night!!
Liam, this is the way we want City to play. No Deccy Daly hoofs, no lasy arse Noel Hartigans up front. We want to see intelligent, passing football, not route 1 boll!x.
Who knows, we might actually do well next year if we do, instead of coming out of Turner's Cross at the last day of the season and saying "next year"
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?
Exactley, I hope everyone involved with city was watching last night because we actually got to see some good skillful football and sadly that truly is a rarity at the cross.
