Bolton media reporting that tonight is Eoin Doyle’s last game (he has come on after an hour as sub for the guy signed to replace him) and he’s off to St Pats after that.
Rob Slevin signed for Harps, last with Cork City.
Interesting, wouldn't have been expected, but looking forward to seeing him play.

Maybe I’m reading this wrong but it appears James Brown is going to sign a six month deal with Blackburn. Seems mad to me that he’s effectively going on a six month trial. Surely he’s had offers from other clubs in England for a longer deal.

Waterford confirmed two re-signings this morning.
- Darragh Power
- Tunmise Sobowale
Both played 19s at the club, Sobowale has had a few clubs since he came through the 19s. Sobowale went on loan for the second half of last season, heard no reports on how he done. He can play a couple of positions across the team, guessing he’ll play a big part as a squad player this year. Darragh Power is the big one, took the jump from the 19s and looked really comfortable in the starting team last year, a lot to learn yet but he showed a lot of promise and potential last season. He’ll be one to watch out for.
I’m assuming at this stage every club is in pre-season training?

Conor Tourish signed for Harps, defender ex of Letterkeny Rovers and Institute….
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
"While he will train with the first team, Brown will initially play with the U23s side to build up match fitness, given he hasn’t played since the end of the Premier Division season last November. "
Maybe he's been told he has a chance with the first team when he is fit? Can't see him stepping up to that level to be honest but good luck to him. I suppose the worst thing that could happen is he ends up back here and plenty would take him in 6 months.
Harps signed Jose Carillo,Spanish defender last at Fk Senica in Slovakia,Kris Twardek’s previous club before signing back at Bohs incidentally……

Decent enough deal for us if he continues to progress
Will be hard to replace and certainly leaving Sligo very sparse up front. Defence and midfield looking okay though.
Carrillo comes in with a half decent bit of pedigree too. Most of his career in the Spanish third tier, and the last four years in the Slovakian premier. Played with FC Senica last season, same club as Kris Twardek is after joining Bohs from, as Joey said.
It'll be interesting to see how he adjusts to the LOI, the Donegal weather, and picking up the language, as I understand his English isn't too great.

How's Ollie's Spanish?
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

Pats going a bit further afield than usual in the hunt for new signings. Pakistan.

Interesting that they'll promote their new kits as sustainable and then send Kerr jetting off to Pakistan and back, presumably with Pakistani players in tow.
I suspect the latter will far outweigh the former in terms of impact.
