Exclamation PAT-s should take the punishment

I beleive that Pat Dolan and co at Richmond Park tried to pull a cheeky move over the League and with Dooney. With the league being such fools as they are, they thought they would get away with it and to be honest they deserve their deductions, in fact they got of lightly. Any other team in the world would of been severely punished for the Marney saga. Yet people in Ireland beleived it was an unfortunate mistake and they should get away with it! wake up! To me, witnessing the second affair has proved Pats made no mistake but were caught with there knickers down by there ankles. They have consistenly lied about the Marney case saying it was false, and they were inicent. On the grounds of lieing alone, they should be punished. If a club like Limerick who lie at the foot of the first division played two unregistered players, what treatment would they receive?I also think Dooney has handled this unbeleiveably bad. I mean he knew about it since septemper!!what a fool.

The only surprising thing is that Pats haven't tried to have St. Francis docked 15 points instead of them !!!

Dolan is dragging the League through the mud. If only Tim O'Flaherty had the sense to call a halt to their pathetic excuses.

And who made the mud? OLLIE BYRNE! It's is fault that this has dragged on so long as much as anyone else's, if not more. He wasn't trying to ensure the rules were enforced, he was trying to make sure pats wouldn't catch shels. He's a thug, a coward and a bully who will do anything he can to get an advantage.

In his case probably true, OK, definitely true, but that does not change the fact that St. Pat's have CHEATED thic season and another League club ( Shamrock Rovers or whoever ) deserve to finish second and not St. Pat's. A playoff between the two clubs is definitely throwing the League Rule Book out the window.

From next season on they should FINE clubs rather than deduct them points.

P.S. Well done to St. Pat's players last night on accrueing enough points that should have made them champions.....except that their admin people ( Dolan is Chief Executive ) have failed them completely and should apologise to them and the rest of the League.

Dolan's singlemindedness has long been a benefit to the League but now he is doing an Ollie Byrne on it ( i.e. only concern is for his own club ).

If O'Flaherty sacked Dolan would this solve the whole saga?

Glad to finally hear a shels fan NOT defend that idiot! Yeah Pats have cheated- well maybe not cheated, but they did break the rules- but the point pats are making is they're not the only ones. If they're right, then why should they be the only ones punished? I think the play-off idea is probably the fairest solution, despite the rules.

btw, there's no WAY Dolan will ever be sacked by pats. He's the real power there, O'Flaherty has no real power over him, he's just a figurehead.
