Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

Never got into the Beatles, sorry ! My dad is a huge fan and jammed their discography through my throat during my youth... I never got the excitement about their music.

My fav band is from the same city though: the magical ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN

I can never get over the irony of writing a song called 'I'll be missing you' about a guy who was multiply plugged with a gun. He wasn't being missed that day

Fools Gold - The Stone Roses.... Just perfect - captured the moment of it's release like no other song imo.

    Impossible question
Ordinarily I'd agree with you, but I'm having a Nick Cave week, so I'm gonna say The Mercy Seat.

He was rather large. It'd be hard to miss him.

She's Lost Control - Joy Division.

Though sligoman's choice of "Everybody Hurts" runs very close!

Atmosphere by Joy Division is sadly overlooked in these instances....

In My Life - The Beatles.
Changes with the weather though in fairness.

I would have thought that it would rank amongst the lowest moments ever.

I mean, rap has some (few) songs to offer this thread, The Message, White Lines, Don't Believe the Hype etc., but that Puff Diddy song is an embarrassment.

The Message by Nas ? Yeah that was a great song, that time (mid 1990s) was the high water mark of Rap IMO, since then its been a long way downhill.
