NOC, as is his right as manager, didn't make a big effort to secure Jimmy for this season. If we'd had stability between the sticks this issue would have died down a long time ago. It hasn't and I don't think it will anytime soon

A mate of mine is good friends with Jimmy and this is what he told him, Does Fyffe tell eveyone a different story then?

    Limerick Fanzine

Got a copy of it on friday was bemused by the label of terryland park as a clean 'Jackman park' you're having a laugh, please tell me yis were, unless the editor must of got the T bowl mixed up with another pitch. Futhermore yis rated us 4 and kildare 5 quiet rediculous seeming that we boast one of the best pitches in the eircom league which has in the past staged u 21 Ireland internationals, we have a least 5-6 times more seeting area.an excellent set up, an adundance of stewards. on my last visit to kildare i counted 2 stewards. As for the Salthill references, what would you know about it mate. Overall poor piece of writing, if i had actually purchased one i would have demanded a refund, but the wise man that i am i didnt

I presumed it was all a p1ss take. After all, no ground had anything good said about it as far as i can remember. And after all, having Limerick fans rating other grounds......

I didn't write the article but I can assure you that the article was in fact a laugh.

Picked up a copy of 'Tribal Bible' at one point and noticed it was full of unfounded criticisms of Sligo. Strangely enough I just accepted it as part and parcel of fanzine culture. I wonder what you'd have said if it mentioned Nick Leeson?
