A minute’s silence will be observed at matches in Ireland this week-end as a mark of respect to the victims of the London bombings.
The recently-elected President of the Football Association of Ireland, Mr. David Blood, has written to the British Ambassador to Ireland, Mr. Stewart Eldon, offering his condolences and extending the sympathies of the Irish football family to the families and friends of those who were killed and injured in Thursday’s atrocities.
