im glad to say i had to think about this one for a whiile. Its a great sign for the league when there is a number of quality players to choose from.
McCourt, Kearney, O'Flynn, Byrne, Crowe, R Baker, Houlihan, Bradley, Robinson (a joy to watch on his day), Hunt, Heary T&O, all came into contention but for me George O'Callaghan is just another cut above the rest.
Where you start is not as important as where you finish!!!!
Daryl Murphy (now Sunderland). Class Striker
I’m not pedantic...I’m merely overly concerned with minute details.
favourite opposite player is at the moment is jason byrne and mark farren
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Kevin Hunt, good player and loyal.
Alan Kirby, great attacking player, gutted he didn't come to City when he left Waterford.
Would have liked to see Stephen O'Flynn play at City the second time.
Paddy McCourt recently looks very good.
Liam Coyle, natural.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
He was having a good night last night in the Bank bar on Dame St, couldnt believe it when I saw him (Still a legend to me!)Originally Posted by d f x-
Mine would be:
Hunt & Digger, both loyal and good old fashioned pros. Id buy them a pint if I saw them out (without putting arsenic in it).![]()
Molloy coz it means that you get 90 min of hurling abuse at him + he plays $hit against City since he's moved from Pats. I love to hate him![]()
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

I've always admired Pizza Hutton. Seems to have been around for ever, great competitor and would love to have seen him playing in a CCFC shirt.
I don't know if Stewie byrne is the same class act. Would love to see him back, if only for the chant, but doesn't wreak my head.... suppose it's about time he was treated as an opposition player...
Always felt Stephen Grant played well against us but I really think Derry City's David Forde is the man at the moment.

Easy.. Paddy MC Court (until next week)![]()
Digger for me. Always had a lot of time for Paul Osam as well
Liam Coyle for the skill. Digger and Tony O'Dowd for the banter.

That was my original opinion of him, because it always seemed that he had a vendetta to do Rovers harm when he played - particularly when with Morley...Originally Posted by northside hoop

Opposition player I'd most like to sign for Pats is a tough choice. O'Callaghan and Hoolahan both have buckets of skill, Hunt is a great competitor, but since we are crying out for a goalscorer at the moment I'd go for Eamonn Zayed off Bray.
