    Flynny and his bloody penos

Flynny has missed too many crucial penos for City - last night, in the cup against Derry, last minutes against Shels in the league, one last last season when Doyler got the rebound for a 1-0 win (can't recall which game) and probably more I can't recall now. His overall success rate must be below 60%. Not good enough when the missed ones are the high pressure ones. Our U21's couldn teach him a thing or two.

Agreed. Haven'd seen the one last night yet, but I just saw the one against UCD. Absolutely brutal penalty. He was lucky that the keeper went the wrong way, coz otherwise it's a soft shot, about a foot off the ground, and three foot to the side. WHAT is he doing shooting there???

I don't think O'Flynn has ever been a good penalty taker.

City haven't had a good peno man since Kelvin Flanagan. Doyler was composed penalty taker too.

I would have to say Neale Fenn as our new penalty taker, I don't have much faith in George either. Failing that Billy Woods, didn't Billy used to take them when he was at Rovers ?

Agreed. He didn't take time to steady himself either. It was all a bit of a panic. He seemed like a guy bursting to go off for a p i s s.

He is not confident taking them, and thats the main thing you need.
    (besides a leg!... )
I have been sayin it for the last few seasons
Billy for the penalties, and if he is not on the pitch, Kearney or Behan.
