just got final match report on shannonside!

town got through one nil! from towns second corner in the game from kirby the ball was scored from davy byrne!

i believe that mick dempsey got strectcheed off near the end of the second half! gary cassin got on in his place and saved john o flynns penalty in the second minute of injury time! alan matthews in his fury throws water in the crowd and gets sent off for his troubles after the dempsey incident!

what a result! three games in turners x in the fai cup and a 100% record!

Of course will Cork will use evey excuse other than facing the fact that LTFC had a game plan which worked and results count in Football.

Over the last two games with Cork, they had 3 and a half hours to score a goal on us and they didn't. Don't care what they say it is a great result for us. Unless I'm mistaken the Drogs are the only other team to beat Cork this year. Come on the Town!!!!

Brilliant win last night. Into the last four of another cup competition. Good see Davy Byrne off the mark too. Bring on the Dwogs and Carmarthen!
