No, that was back then (1950s) in east county Galway. He was young enough for it to have etched something on his mind for many a year.
ah pp, it says it all now, east galway, perfect sense. all put into context i take back what i said. area stands for a hell of a lot.

look three of the greatest players to play for galway in the hurling were from the ros side of balinnnaaaaasloooe, so remember that children.

how is hamish right CTID, if he says bsloe is in galway and her postal address is bsloe and she played for ros??? that would make out i was right. though then again i said bsloe was in galway so???? what do you mean young man?

Oh, for Jesus sake, POS, you're starting to annoy my hole. I fcuking LIVE here. Beeslow hinterland area takes in a huge area - Galway AND Roscommon - Mountbellew, Moylough, Kiltormer AND Taughmaconnell BUT Taughmaconnell is Taughmaconnell, Ballinasloe, Co. fcuking Roscommon while the eastern side of Taughmaconnel can also be Taughmaconnell, Athlone, Co. Roscommon. The letter wil get there no matter what county or nearest big town you put on the envelope.
I get fairly regular footie stuff from the Skyvalley Rovers lads and their address is Taughmaconnell, Ballinasloe, Co. Roscommon. That's where their ground- Oonagh Park - is located.
Anyway, you're North Roscommon - Ahhhh, now I know what you're up to - you know that there's a great rivalry between south and north Ros - even in Gah so you're winding us up.

Anyway, you showed me yourself that Beeslow straddles both counties - you even posted a map, for Jesus sake. That's was only a month or so ago.
Jeez, I even worked for a mining company back in 78 taking soil samples from both sides of the Suck so if anyone knows every inch of the place and where's where, I do.

Get up the yard, ya levitt. LOL

Plastic Paddy, fellow townsman - will ya go over and give that fella a slap and I promise I'll edit out all the Belladonna abuse I posted. LOL

Third paragraph - last two lines:

    http://www.roscommonherald.ie/commun...ory.asp?j=1055

Even An Post has it wrong, then, nothing surprising about that. If you said to the lads in Taughmaconnell that they're in Galway, they'd be very.....er....hurt.

Plastic Paddy is coming round to ya with a big weapon.

Herald was very good to me when I was involved in football - gave great coverage to the game.

Leave me outta this. Any man that's content to diss London whilst happy enough to work and earn a crust in this fine city ain't worth my time. You know who you are.

Back on thread, priest also said that they've plenty to spend on other things. Spoke to some people today - he's a total looper.
I believe there's hell to pay over it in the parish - one person there said if they came round to his house, he's kick them off his property and he has paid the full amount!!!!

Brother in law works very near there - just told me that priest has a long list of crazyiness.
More concerned about London now TBH - hope you're not over there and if so, are ok man.
