Dundalk must start a run going soon and any team that can run Vitesse close over two legs is capable of doing so.
Fail to beat Drogs and wins for Harps and Waterford could see them in the Relegation play off spot which looks riddiculous written down.
Have not heard about the injuries against Derry but if the two Mcs are out for a while that is a serious blow.

Sligo v Derry is a massive game , if Sligo dont at least get a draw you would think their fall out of top 4 is a matter of time.
Heard Bucko being interviewed and sounded defiant "we are still 3rd and 4 points clear of 4th" which is correct but if Sligo were a Horse and you were studying form you wouldn't see them finishing this race.

Despite Galways win last week the first division looks settled for winner and the 4 play off places, slight hope for Galway maybe if Bray can get something against Shels who showed last year they are capable of an end of season collapse under pressure

We need to keep the momentum going and look for at least a point against Pats as Waterford will most likely beat Longford.

Our home form has to improve at some stage this season. We've been awful at home all year, thank feck for our away form.
It has to turn some time, and no time like the present.

Waiting quietly on what as been described as a very serious injury to McMillan in Derry and a bad one to Hoban, Kelly out a week to ten days. Still waiting for the return of 2 long term centre backs injuries. So we are very very tight on options with maybe a keeper and an outfield player in this week having been on trial. Some luck holding up un the cup draws and get players back and just get to 2022 will do me now!

That would be pretty **** on McMillan always harder to come back as you get older.
I thought it was McEleney not Hoban injured against Derry?

Of all people to forget yes McEleney injured v Derry too. Bar McMillan its wait and see after scans and swelling goes etc. Seemed pretty concrete on McMillan and would be an awful end to the season for him if thats what turns out - maybe a heroic return and a clatter of goals in the cup final!

Games going well for rovers so far. If harps can hang on we go 3 points clear with two games in hand

Listening along to Treaty/Wexford on 95FM. Sounds like Treaty are really struggling recently. A week off next week owing to the cup, seems badly required. The return of crowds hasn't helped them at all.

What a tonic tonight's games are, after the trauma of last night 😁😁😁😁.
Pat's look lost in their bid to keep a title race going - I'd give SOD plenty of slack if I was a pats fan. He's essentially in year 1 of his project and needs to clear out the obvious deadwood before they can really go for the league - they look certain to qualify for Europe do that will be money next year for more players. A work on progress by the looks of it

As for "The Most Expensive Squad Assembled in LOI History"... Currently adorning the relegation playoff spot..
    What an embarrassent.

Impossible to tell from the angles on the stream, but when the home commentators call "a suspicion of offside" on all three Harps goals you know it's not your night.

Not saying Pats played well, cos they didn't.

Yeah, poor from Pats, but all of the Harps goals looked dodgy. Third in particular looked a mile off. We missed Desmond in defence too I think.

In fairness though, we’d have been more than happy to be second at this point before the season, and as Placid said, O’Donnell is still building a team. We’ve made progress s8nce last year, no question. Tonight was just one to write off I think. Big one next week v Cork in the cup.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

Saw Rovers embarrassing themselves (and the league) last night and thought "hold my beer"

Great win tonight for us,I’ve no idea if any of the goals were offside but Tunde took all 3 very well,Pats huffed and puffed but didn’t trouble us too much in the second half apart from hitting the post,we had 1 fit center half and I was expecting the worst but Webster and Boyle did really well…..

With Desmond out and Barrett carrying an injury we were very vulnerable in central defence and your striker used his pace to exploit it effectively. I think he probably got away with a couple of offsides but he finished really well, Our squad is too small for a title challenge so the occasional night like tonight is inevitable. We’ve bounced back from every previous setback and I’m sure we will again. You guys will be ok too. Better than Waterford and on current form better than Dundalk.

  20. Thanks From:

Teams have watched the videos and seen that if they play two wingers right out wide, hugging the touchline, they'll have loads of space and stretch and get in behind our defence. We are very easy to get at now.
