Yet you are happy to declare ' the internet ' says he's 6 1 earlier
Because the internet only carries the truth eh Pineappler ?
You are one who's posts have always had a fairly casual relationship with reality on here, IMO, entertaining at times, but only that. However today you truly do exceed yourself.
When did geysir get hold of craftys login creds?

Is Talbot really only 5'11"? Regardless of how talented or otherwise he is I can't see much of a future at a high level for a keeper who isn't even 6 foot tall being honest - that's just not tall enough for a keeper.

Heard some speculation on radio that there was a move for Randolph in the works which may have meant that it made sense to stay until deadline day passed.
On the subject of keepers, genuinely if I were in charge and Randolph and Travers weren't available, I'd call up Sean McDermott. Covid might complicate things as a normal person would have to quarantine on return to Norway from Ireland. I just think he's never really had the opportunity his talent merits and I'd like Kenny and Kiely to work with him and see him in training... He had some injury issues during covid and the league was delayed over there but he was playing regularly last time i checked...
Talbot's a decent keeper, wouldn't want him starting against portugal, but i'd feel almost as worried starting Travers for that game. I think Max O'Leary is another lad who is probably better than Talbot but isn't getting any game time, sitting on the bench for a championship team (possibly where Travers will be for the majority of the season). No idea where Pym rates - have only seen highlights. O'Hara seems to have really gone, looks like he's 3rd choice for a League 1 team, which considering he was 2nd choice for Mick is a fall from grace.
For all the talk, goalkeeper is a position of relative strength. Kinda
Came in here ready to dump on our manager for calling up players from a pub league, but if it is true that Randolph isn't vaccinated, then there's no need to risk an outbreak in the group if he's not willing to take the jab. No need to bring up a proper third string goalkeeper if he's not going to play anyway, better to save some money and have a local lad fill in.
Illuminating.
Potentially, in a few years. Certainly stacked for options at CB. Rest of the team ... meh.
But Kenny & Co. would have known for at least 36hrs prior to calling up Talbot that Travers was a (major) doubt – so they had time to weigh up options, done what needs to be done behind the scenes, and from that determined Talbot as the choice. I rather congratulate Talbot on his inclusion rather than using it as another stick to beat Kenny with as, by and large, he is picking the strongest squad available to him.
Irish Indo: Randolph's position was complicated by the fact that he is on the verge of a move away from West Ham. He has dropped to third choice there and, with the transfer window set to close tomorrow, Randolph has club business to finalise across the next 24 hours.
Same reason Hourihane was delayed joining the squad. And that appears to be the long and the short of it.
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!
- E Tattsyrup.
That would apply to a few other Irish players today also. But I suppose given that Kenny has already made it clear he doesn't want to pick him in these games there was probably nothing to gain from giving him a late call up to warm the bench in Portugal.
