First Division Kildare County have added to their squad by bringing in former Carlisle United forward Dave Scully, who spent time at Leinster Senior League outfit Mullingar Athletic and AUL side O’Devaney since returning from his spell in England.
Scully returned to Ireland last year after failing to make the breakthrough at Brunton Park.
The 20-year-old, who is equally at home either up front or on the right side of midfield, is seen as a replacement for departed striker Sean Francis.
Registration permitting, he could make his Thoroughbreds debut in Saturday night’s Leinster derby against Kilkenny City.
