Former Shamrock Rovers, Cobh Ramblers and Longford Town star Sean Francis has parted company with Kildare County this week.
Francis was the Longford’s top scorer in the Premier Division in 2003 with 10 goals, but managed just seven in his season-and-a-half stay at Station Road.
The 32-year-old had started just two of Kildare’s 15 league games to date this season – but was still the Thoroughbreds’ joint top scorer with four goals.
He has already been linked with a return to Munster, where Waterford United are said to be interested in a short-term deal.
From here.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
