Anyone out there. I am a Scunny supporter coming over in two weeks time for friendlies. Pre Season tour to Ireland now fixed. Playing Limerick on the 18th July and Cobh on the 20th.
Will be staying in Limerick on the Monday and Tuesday nights.
Where is best place for pre-match beers, and any ideas on where to go on the Tuesday night for drinks/live music.
Thanks guys (and gals).

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Looking forward to the scunny match, should be a good crowd there and hopefully a good bit of banter. If you're looking for live music Dolans Warehouse might be worth a shout, get your hands on a Limerick Events Guide for details of gigs in town and lists of bars and clubs. Limerick City is fairly small so you should have no trouble finding your way into a few pubs.
Again looking forward to the match,
all the best
Looking forward to the match as well but I can't see a huge crowd for it if I'm honest. S****horpe are hardly Man United. Or Hibs or Bolton for that matter. Fingers crossed the people of Limerick will surprise me but if they don't come out for a league cup game with Waterford I'm not convinced that a friendly with S****horpe will have them out in their droves.Originally Posted by thelimerick

Never noticed the dirty word in the team name till now ( the auto-censor picked it upOriginally Posted by sadloserkid

What time does the game with S****horpe kick-off?
If you don't like John 3:7...
There's always Limerick 37!
Yeah, this S****horpe crowd must be a right shower of ****s altogetherOriginally Posted by Shelsman

Can you name two England captains that played for Scunny in the 1970s?
Kevin Keegan and Ian Botham?
A leading authority on League of Ireland football since 2003. You're probably wrong.
Aye.
Never saw Botham playing soccer. Not sure where he played!
What about Ray Clemence?Did he ever captain England?
yes it was 3 en*land captains
clemence
beefy and
keegan
But only two in an actual sport.Originally Posted by 3 Heroes

Beefy did play for S****horpe as a training exercise, one winter in the early 80's. From memory he played up front when he came on as substitute.
Not sure if Ray Clemence was ever England Captain?
Looking forward to trip to Limerick.
Do you have a club bar where we can partake in some refreshments prior to match.
Also whats the issue with Cobh. Who does not like who and why?
Nope no bar i'm afraid and i wouldn't really recomend any of the pubs near the ground. Best to fill up in the city centre before the gameOriginally Posted by graweasel

Cobh seem to have a strange impression we're rivals but they annoy Limerick in the same way an annoying little kid brother might annoy you![]()
