Green Away Jersey

With the World Cup coming up any t-shirt that has a shade of green on it will be in demand. The department stores like Dunnes and Pennies are already full of fake Ireland Jerseys.

Why cant City make their new away jersey a green world cup special edition one?It would look alot better than wearing a British team's jersey at Ireland matches.

Surely it would be a good way to rasie money for the Club
Oh no not them again

Thumbs up

As ideas go thats not at all bad.

Maybe have it as a 3rd jersey. How could they go wrong with Green + Guinness on the front?

However given the trouble getting some of this seasons home ones for sale they may not be ready until euro 2004

AFAIK we currently do , or did anyway last year have a green jersey with guinnes logo on the front and it was mank

in fact i saw it on sale in Cummonins for 10 quid before the start of the season and they still couldnt shift them

it was like the old / new red city jersey ...the shiny one.. only green and shiny..

Did they ever wear that green jersey? I don't think so. You'd feel kinda cheated if ya bought one.

I think the City away strip should always be green to reinforce it as one of the club colours.

Like all great European clubs, City decided to release a EUROPEAN shirt, the green jersey, in the same mould as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Liverpool. Unfortunately, we have yet to wear it in the 2nd round of a Competition!

It had/has Guiness on the front, but it has to be said that it is the most horrible shirt ever.

I think the eL should adopt the NFL idea, that all teams have only two strips, one in the colour of their choice and one strip predominantly white. In City's case, their red strip would still be their main one, but the white strip could have any colour they want as piping, so green could be used there. This idea of having more than 2 strips is a cod.........
