It's an opinion ffs. Some people think combats are naf, some people think flares are naf, some people think goth gear is naf, some people think pink tshirts look a wee bit gay on blokes (as macy said it aint gay bashing, its just that pink shirts looks a bit gay in some peoples opinions)

all this talk on it though, id nearly go out and buy one myself for the craic !!!

Actually, I'm just after remembering that I used to have a pink(ish) Nirvana tshirt when I was 16

I must've been going through a bit of a ahem confused phase around then

It's just an opinion on pink t shirts. I don't see why anyone would take offence really.

It doesn't have a voice or a political opinion.....We take offence to what it represents or it's associated with
ah but thats where the lines cross, you wear something as its something you are represented by or you are representing something by, therefore it does associate in general with a voice or a political opinion, as you are representing a following with a political opinion.

im not slagging off people who wear them, just wondering why all of a sudden they've become popular, i wouldnt take any offence over people wearing them, wear what ya like ..... for the record, i dont think anyone who wears them is gay, though it seems that wearing pink over here does make you popular with the ladies.....

You cant include me in that statement, thanks , I totally disagree with you.

And again, I think your missing the point of the whole metrosexual thing.
The point is its a term for guys who are confident with their sexuality, so much so that they realise wearing pink wont make them gay

Its you opinion, I just dont agree, but then I dont mind fellas wearing pink T-shirts

Metrosexual is just a marketing gimic to get blokes to buy cosmetics and other products that they wouldn't normally have bothered with. Growth has peaked with women, so now the companies have to target men.

Pink t shirts doesn't make anyone gay, just makes them look it, imo. Saying someone looks gay isn't an insult - and if the "metrosexuals" take it as one, maybe they're not so confident about their sexuality as they like to make out.

Don't think it's the t-shirts specifically. It takes confidence to wear certain outfits. If someone looks confident, then often others will find that attractive. This is also true for women.

    Wrong

Definetely wrong, I dont see the point in it really(it doesn't suit guys like). I was at a comedian a few weeks back and my friend was wearing a pink t-shirt, the comedian made a joke about how he was brave wearing a shirt like that .

Obviously a quality act when he can make such clever and unobvious jokes!

Spot on. And it's the same with the "men's" magazines, such as FHM, Maxim and their like. They sell themselves as lads magazines, but just look at the advertising that goes into them, the various articles about personal grooming and the pages dedicated to cosmetics and fashion.
The woman's market is saturated and now blokes are seen as a prime target, regardless of sexuality.

As for this stupid mohican hairstyle, both girlies and lads can be seen with it.

I know a few women who would disagree with that one. As Eire06 said, its like any item of clothing, certain colours/styles etc do not suit certain guys with certain build/colouring etc.
However, Ive seen some fit blokes wearing pink and it looked good. All depends on the individual

But were you interested in the individual? If so, why didn't you approach him, or was he with his (male) partner at the time?

I said I saw some fit blokes, yes I was more interested in the individual than his shirt , I assumed they were not gay, but I dont approach fellas anyway, so its not an issue. I was merely pointing out guys can look nice in pink.

Living in Brighton, I knew alot of gay men who would not be seen dead in pink, in much the same way alot of straight men would
