    Interesting clash...!

League Cup q/f tie versus Waterford on this Monday...

Enda McGuill U-21 Cup First Round tie v. Garda on the same day!

Even if the U-21 game gets switched to Tuesday, does this mean we're going with at worst fringe first-team players on Monday?

Against Bohs at this stage last year, we drafted in a few first-teamers alright (Tony Mac, Micko, Robbie Martin, Conor Kenna, Sully) and had a few U-21s in (Pat Burke, Darren Quigley, Gary Dicker, Kieran Foley). It's worth E2,500 to win this match though. Looks like a not-far-off full strength team!

    Misleading headline...!

Maybe we'll play a really bad team in the Enda McGuill match?

We'd probably be better off leaving Micko out of the League Cup match. We know he hates the competition enough to get sent off to avoid the second half against Bohs last year and this year suspensions for League Cup stuff count for the next league match so it wouldn't be worth it really.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

So we just send Micko to the U21 game as our overage player. No one else, mind you. Reckon he'd take the Garda on his own.

    They'd still struggle to equalise!
