    Weekend breaks in west '20% cheaper than in Dublin'

    is this a good thing or a bad thing??

    as i always said the west is the best....

    Only 20% cheaper? I would've expected much lower tbh....

    Doing a midweek in the Slieve Russell later on in the summer actually. Seems more than 20% cheaper than Dublin, so exclude the rip off west and I'd say borders and midlands the places to go

    Long time since I was last up at the Slieve Russell - used to head up there to the nightclub and the easy Fermanagh women....

    IMO 20% is not low enough.

    Most foreign (especially US tourists) start in Dublin so more demand there.

    20% cheaper than a rip off is not worth celebrating.
    Paul O'Shea do you happen to work for the Western Tourist board by any chance or is that everyone in the West gets a brochure on how to promote the region because when it comes to self praise and promotion ye do a good job!
