Clare Schoolboy Leagues Goes to Summer Soccer

It was passed last night at the AGM of the Clare Schoolboy that they would switch to summer soccer in July 2007.A brave decision proposed by Martin Hehir of Connoly Celtic.

brave decision indeed, particularly from a "GAAclub" in the height of GAA season. Any chance of the junior league following suit?

I doubt it very much .at the end of the season just gone that was mentioned but was soon shelved due the farmers field syndrom i.e. the farmer would let the grass grow!!!
