Rovers badly need the break to try and get a few bodies back but can have no excuses for not going to Longford and looking for 3 points.
Pats v Dundalk depends on which Dundalk turns up. Another win for Bohs and they will be starting to dream again.

First divison has a few interesting matches with 3 points separating 2nd to 7th.
UCD could do with a win to keep pushing Shels and Galway need to start getting results that their full time status deserve.
Treaty V Bray will be a good match, Bray another club who would have been expecting to challenge for the title

As long as no one mentions a Longford cup final Rovers should be ok, Tricky fixture when there is a bit of pressure on but Longford for all their good play are a bit on the toothless side. Dundalk,,, I am not going there! Drogs and Derry is an interesting one, a home win and they can genuinely consider a push for Europe. Bohs should win but a bit hit or miss this season and Waterford have had time now under the new manager. Harps put a stop to the rot and will be not be easy for Sligo but they need to keep pressure on those at the top end of the table.

Big game for Harps to keep in touch with the top sides going into the mid season break. Bohs resurgence hasn't helped and would like to stay in touch with the top four or five for as long as possible ideally.

Big game in Finn Park, Harps came back from conceding early to take all 3 points in Waterford, Sligo went top of the table and probably the in form team as we go into the mid season break . On paper Sligo look the better side but one lapse of concentration was the only difference in them last time they met, I'll be happy with a point

Owolabi has been an absolutely fantastic nuisance for Harps in this game so far.

Yeah, quality-wise has been inconsistent at best so far but he's causing a lot of chaos and forging chances for himself.

It seems like Parkes left his head in there a little bit, but it was more of a harmless, rolling nudge against the Finn Harps player. And the linesman was only a few feet away. Silly and soft, but it meets the minimum requirement by the rule book. Other than that it's been a very good game. Sligo incredibly sloppy at times in the first half, especially for the goal they conceded. Harps lucky not to have scored more than 1 through Owalabi.

That save from McGinty could be huge. Big win for Sligo to see that out.

If Parkes had to go Sadiki had to too, the decision probably cost Harps at least a point because we parked the bus after.

Making a bit of a habit out of somehow finding ourselves behind in games. Dundalk were horrendous for around half an hour there and have managed to sneak an own goal. Need to actually make something of our dominance.

All said and done we'd probably have taken 6points from these 3 games, would have been nice not to have been hammerd by Bohs though. If we had gone back to some basics v Bohs like tonight we would have been massively better. There was some defensive shape that keeps pats at arms length and give them lots of the ball and make it really hard for them to break the defensive effort down. Bit of fortunate with the 1st goal which helped settle things and Abibi has a clean sheet. Not so depressing just now for DFC fans.

Second time in a month coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2

Not sure we can keep shipping goals like that, but it cements us in second for now, which is an improvement on last year. Can't ask for more than that really.

Caulfield must be headed for the sack very soon surely?
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

Drogheda 1 Derry 2. Goalkeeping errors and appalling refereeing win it for Derry.
