Foot.ie was born on the 28th of May 2001 according to my records. I assume we'll have a 21st for it next year, proper coming of age ceremony, but there you go, we're at it 20 years now. Well done us!
Thanks for building and maintaining the site. It's been a big resource for the LoI fans in particular.
You can't spell failure without FAI
Wow the 20 years have flown so fast. Wonder could we organise a foot.ie reunion as we did in 2009 in Dublin when i met magicme and a few others to mark the occasion?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
I assume pandemic-related difficulties were behind Dahamsta's suggestion of a 21st instead, Martinho. L'Shana Haba'ah, and all that.

That's a hell of a thing. Happy birthday foot.ie, four years older than youtube!

Congrats dahamsta.
Remember registering in the old Computer room in CIT when we were only supposed to use them for "research"!
Happy Days.
Many a football forum has been and gone and Foot still standing strong, congrats to Adam and thanks for keeping it going.
Have only been here for the less glorious years, but there's been some great times during my 12 years as part of the crowd.
Like RaM, I registered during my time in college, in Athlone in 2009. Wasted many a day posting nonsense here.
Wouldn't change a thing.
Here's to twenty more!
