Which would be likely to be shown from this round though? While Dundalk Drogheda is the most appealing one, I'd say for some reason they would be more likely to show Cork v Finn Harps.

I'd say it's likely they'll show one game, to be honest. My money's on Bohs v. Wayside Celtic...

I'd nearly say it will be Sligo Rovers v SPA

Do you know nothing about the great camera vortex that exists outside of Dublin?! TV cameras simply cannot pass through this without suffering irreparable damage, not to mention cost and effort! It's a well-studied phenomenon (in TV-station-land at least) and means that games outside of Dublin can never ever be shown live unless a cheap feed is provided...

Sligo v. Pat's or Cork v. Harps would be the best, I suppose. Decent crowds to be expected at both. But hey, I'm a cynic!

Yeah that's what I think too, but I think it will be the Cork/Harps one that's shown
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

if you move to the uk theres nothing wrong with that. but if you move to belfast then you're still in ireland

as for tv i reckon dundalk v drogheda would be the tie of the round,as its a derby. but i ownder where will the game be played, when is oriel going to be ready?
im glad Rovers got douglas hall.was hoping for an amateur club. because we're rubbish and wouldnt have much chance of beating an EL team

IF RTE show a game, I suspect it will be Drogheda v Dundalk, as they described it as the tie of the round.

Why do Rovers always get the hard games in the early rounds?! .....

...is what I normally say after the draw..
    The Model Club

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

Even if Rovers were drawn against your ma and her mates, it would still be a hard game for them.

Ah, c'mon, you wouldn't begrudge us a little harmless taunting would ya ? That's about as easy as anything gets for us these days (And it was generous of ye to play the kiddies against us so we could win a game )

Glad to see everyone tipping Sligo to beat us though. I think we can come through it, though it might take a replay.
