One situation referenced in the article is the Keegan/Giovagnoli situation. Alan Mathews didn't have the same spotlight/criticism as Shane Keegan. And I get the line of "well Dundalk" made a song and dance about Keegan. I still don't think journalists should be favouring Pats over Dundalk. Maybe it's just Dan McDonnell, who I have to say is grating on LOI Central but sin scéal eile.
But anyway, a question, why was Giovagnoli restricted to the stand, yet Stephen O'Donnell can sit on the bench? If Giovagnoli was allowed on the bench, surely it would have been a bit smoother.
As you wish.
Your club is dropping like cement block on the ocean.
You won't qualify for Europe, won't mae any progress in Europe this year, and as a result of spending far far more money than your earning your owners peak6 will pull the plug within the next 18 months, and as they wont get their asking price for a suitable buyer will walk away and leave your club in ruins
Your club is more likely to be extinct in 5 yrs than it is to be champions again.
Shamrock Rovers- Where trophies are won and envy is scarce
Ok result for Rovers considering lengthening injury list with Kavanagh, O’Brien, McCann , Greene, Watts and Farugia missing and Gannon showing again he’s not a wing back
Fairly dodgy that goal by Gaffney would you reckon?

Ha! That's ridiculous.
League title wide open anyways. Hand firmly grasped off the trophy, and those prattlers from early on can be ignored
God bless them but the refs really are atrocious
The ref was appalling the entire match for both teams. A fat shambles of a referee.
Rovers fell through that game and managed a draw based on memory, almost.
Why do Derry persist with that parkhouse guy-he looks so uninterested.
Fitzgerald looks a real threat whenever I see him play.
Onto oriel Park for dundalks Cup final next week. 😋
That really is atrocious officiating, just when you think they can't get any worse you see something like that. Rovers will walk the league, they don't need any help from officials. Who was the ref?
Referee not obliged to stop the game for a 2nd ball on the pitch, rule changed around 10 years ago to stop ballboys throwing balls on the pitch.
Derry switched off and it’s not the first time a team has done that against Rovers this season.
“When the ball goes dead, we come alive” S Bradley.
While this is true, that goal still shouldn't have stood because of where it was taken from. Derry can have every right to be annoyed at the goal standing, and Rovers taking the throw from 20 yards further from where it should have been taken is, I think, above and beyond "play the whistle"
This will make for entertaining reading back some day or you will have to change yer name to Mystic Meg PC.
Ouch!! Well its a guaranteed 7th year of cup finals in row i suppose then (not including LC, LSC, Malone Trophy, cross border stuff, Presidents Cup or any of that malarkey...).
