Er...before this thread gets binned, I think its worth saying once more that all this virtual vitriol shouldn't make us turn against a club that has a lot of admirable qualities - the thread title is undeniably anti-Longford - and a team that had the cheek to do something so hateful as get a draw at the Cross. I think most Cork City fans like Longford and wish them well, and the general theme of this thread does that relationship no good.

Eh, I started the thread and I still say that I always had a soft spot for Longford, I think Digger is quite simply the greatest character in the League (outside of the Cross), their fans are very loyal and we get on very well with them..........but Mathews and his tactics make me sick.

If every team played like them we would not have a League as everyone would stay away and watch $hit like Big Brother or Celebrity Let's All Laugh at $helbourne

Summer soccer has not worked for attendances.
