Just google it and see what recipes you get, Ms I think potato bread is boxty....

And you better learn the right way....
    "Boxty on the griddle,
    boxty in the pan,
    if you can't make boxty,
    you'll never get a man."

I NEVER scratch my ass - dusgusting habit quite common I believe in parts of Fermanagh due to outbreaks of verious creepy crawlies. LOL

Macy - I love potatoe bread and my sister gave me a long rigmarole about boxty last night - I lost the will to live after the fourth sentence. She's a brilliant cook but such a show off.

TBH - more or less the same as yours but she adds various spices etc. Can't remember the spice names. Never listen to her much anyway LOL

PLEASE, I'm begging now - stop calling me Hameyboy or Hame - I love my Hamish nickname.

Sure he'd say anything to agree with you. Checked with my relo's over the weekend and I'm right, so we'll just have to say different recipes (with your mam and hame's sister wrong)...

Agree with KT??? You're obviously extracting the michael.

Stop calling me Hame - you're copying KT.

    It's H----A-----M------I--------S--------H
    Hamish

My sister just mentioned spices??? What's wrong with that???

    Here's another quickie:

Get a packet of Paxo - pop it into a bowl and add water - four minutes at 600 in the microwave.
Get some rashers, put stuffing on each rasher and roll the rasher around the stuffing.
Pop the rashers onto a pan or in the grill. A few minutes later you've got.........
    Stuffed rashers - lovely.
