You're right, probably this would not be the best draw.

But even as a Celtic fan, you should call the club as it is, Rangers and not Rankers. It could stir up the whole Glaswegian issue where unfortunately politics are involved, and we've seen recently what it leads to... Besides, if the rest of the SPL are 'joke sides', why did one of those jokers win the league then ?
calling ranger rankers is no different than calling bohs by their own real name- the gypos. its a football slag.nothing poiltical surely

for the record , best of luck to glentoran-i hope you do irish football proud

On point 1, you'll have seen my response to Gerrit. Enough said.

On point 2, likewise. I hope for two great adverts for Irish football that give Shels the springboard to their first-ever visit to the Champions League. And if Shels don't do it, well, I hope that the Glens do.

A wee bit of sunshine and no football for the last few weeks make life a little easier to bear, Big P.

On Ardoyne's finest, neds are neds are neds. "We" have them and "you" have them. That fact does not excuse the behaviour of the idiots mentioned in MacDonald's article, of course. Someone needs to remind these idiots that it's only a game. But then, for some, any excuse will do for a scrap and noising up the neighbours.

Thanks for the link, btw. I'd not read that piece before. Food for thought.

Getting into the UEFA Cup would be a big success, and that goes for both Glens and Shels. Let's not get too much dreaming away...
