    Tony Mannion

Just heard that he has resigned from his post as general manager at Galway United. A friend of mine heard it on Galway Bay FM.

In fairness you have to acknowledge the work he's put into Utd over the past few years.Don't forget he nearly got us promoted, loosing in the playoff final(AET) and getting us to the cup semi final.

Is it likely the post will be filled by someone else?

    Commercial Manager ..

.. Nick Leeson is taking over some of Tony's responsibilites.

Tony Mannion has been associated with Galway United over the past twenty five years and has brought the club to many of its highest points, second and third in the league, competing in Europe, etc.

I wish him well in the future.
