Not looking to be offended at all here it would take a lot to do that to me I like Harps consider them neighbours more than rivals and hope they stay up etc etc but when something has happened now multiple times it does need to be called out as they are deliberately over crowding the away end and it is putting peoples safety at risk.

It isn’t a case of being offended at all it is a case of saying ok this has now happened multiple times in recent years and I am going to a football match and feeling unsafe due to the hosting club deliverately over selling a small terrace and showing scant regard for potential consequences.

It needs to be approached now imo.

Why do you keep going back and putting your life at risk in this way?

Because i am a hero for my club and if I am martyred then so be it, it will be a glorious death indeed.

That or maybe I naively expect Harps to learn and improve the situation ?

Plenty of Derry fans were smart enough to stand in front of the club shop, and the opposite side of the gantry, without any issue. There was plenty of space over there too.

Funny the last time I was in Finn Park we were segregated by being directed toward a separate turnstile.

If I am wrong then I stand corrected but are not the host team who welcome them obliged to provide a segregated section for away fans?

I know Harps are moving soon but honestly, you wouldn’t keep Pigs in those conditions last night.

Generally directed towards the 'away end' yes, but there's no barriers, and nothing to separate supporters once in the ground. Plenty of Derry fans in the home ends last night, and been plenty of other opposition fans in main stand for other games.

That's a BS excuse tbf. It sounds like Harps run a sh*t show when it comes to away fans. And instead of trying to be professional and improve yourselves, the excuse is "ah sure we've always done it, it's grand". It's situations like this that indicate to me that the LOI is doomed and will forever be run by clowns.

And this isn't an attack on Harps btw, Shamrocks slow reaction to their two scumbag fans and even decisions my own club makes would leave you feeling disillusioned. We need to be more professional.

Thats it settled so! Only UCD should be able to have away fans, only way to oust the clowns!

Great to see crowds surging. The expanded first division playoffs should have been done long ago; more high stakes matches, especially in "the graveyard", are very welcome! Wondering how much if this a post pandemic boom.

There was over 1,000 in Turners Cross recently for Cork City ladies vs Treaty, women's LOI record.

Genuine question , how many of them would be free tickets and not paying customers. If the majority were paying punters then it represents a growth in interest for women’s football.

Free I assume, like most other WNL matches. It still represents a big milestone.

Is that a general Donegal excuse? Oh Covid is over. And is every part of FP open air, some of the “indoor” facilities like I previously said, you wouldn’t keep Pigs in, and I know, I’ve lived on a Pig Farm!

Is living like a pig for two hours not one of the standard T&C’s on the back of LOI tickets.

It's was €5 for adults and €1 for kids as usual, there was a push to try and set a new record attendance and a charity tie-in with Breast Cancer Ireland.
