You sure he's bought land for it Candystripe? Is it not just a colab with the university, using their land?

That's what I've read. The uni don't want to sell the land. But hopefully they could come to an agreement for a long term lease on the land.

Really ? That's pretty poor considering it was supposed to be a sell out? I know guys who couldn't get a ticket in the end. Think we had 2500 vs Shels in 2019. Strange.

I think the safety capacity is 2k, Drogs fans will know more.

Not sure away support, but must been 600-700 so good turnout by home fans, but remember a lot of people still don't feel comfortable in crowds regardless if outdoors due to covid.

Only for that observation i'd have been more dismissive of the home support tbh, derby, home club possibly securing the novelty of finishing higher than local rivals while pushing those rivals in to real trouble.

Super crowd, the weather must not have been horrendous. Shows the importance of derbies so should be league wide derby days/rounds when fixtures done up.

Definitely seemed like a lot more than that. Felt closer to 4,000 in Finn park there tonight. Super crowd.

Harps struggled with the big crowd last night it seemed, instead of Derry fans going in the Away Side we ended up all over the ground.

And Covid restrictions/advice being ignored in Donegal as usual.

3,500 tickets sold for Utd v Bray tomorrow evening. Capacity is 4,500. It could be the first sell-out since the 90's I think

Yes it’s time this is called out regardless of covid they are putting health safety and lives of derry fans at risk with their deliberate over selling of away end to us and they know rightly they are doing it too.

There's generally no strict segregation in Finn Park though. There's always away fans in the home end, doesn't matter if it's Derry, Bohs, Pats, Longford, or anyone.

Nit picking and looking to be offended is typical of some Derry fans though.
