Huge 3 points for Bohs. Dundalk should have been 2-0 up early and it looked like we were going to be in for a long evening before that kamikaze tackle for the peno.

I thought we were excellent in the second half and should have put the game to bed. It did look like Dundalk should have had a peno at the end with the handball, but it wasn't given. When your luck is out, it's out.

Lots of positives for us though after a very rough start and hopefully we can kick on from here.

The epitome of the word bitter red. Gob�hite.

Poor, ponderous stuff from Rovers, allowing sligo to pressure them into mistakes. Rovers don't look dangerous in midfield and mandriou & Burke are luxurys we don't need in this situation.
A big step up in class is needed to avoid defeat here.

I’d agree with Alan Cawleys assessment of Shamrock Rovers. They remain a good side but defo seem to have taken a step back in overall quality , on evidence of the few games so far anyway.

Minimised any damage in the end. Missed opportunity for Sligo but character from Shams too.

We lost Byrne and McEneff so no surprise ... I�m actually pleased with how well we�ve started the season as I�m confident we�ll get much better.... no side could of experienced such loss plus Pico missing for two games and not need a little time to adjust.... win in Derry on Tuesday and we�re 2 points off top ... plus over a 36 match season the depth of the Rovers squad will be a huge factor in contrast to Pats/Sligo/Bohs who have a decent starting 11 but no depth
