Thats actually a great 1st game for Wigan, they'll be well up for it as all newly promoted teams are at the start of the season, whereas Chelscum might be a bit lethargic,Mourinho won't be happy playing them 1st game.Think I'll put a few quid on for an upset.

Chelsea might be a bit lethargic but so will most teams except the ones in the CL qualifying rounds, Chelsea will still hammer Wigan, lethargy or not.

I wouldn't be so confident,Wigan will be good for 5/6 games at the start of the season and will probably find the going too tough once they start to pick up injuries.Looking at the opening day fixtures I might go Newcastle,Everton and Wigan to win

Fulham gave United and awful shock when they played them on the opening day of the season after getting promoted, United won 3-2 after being 2-1 down as I recall. Can't see Wigan leading against Chelsea, but with the home support a draw isn't out of the question!!

Man City open at home to West Brom. I'm sure Robson will be welcomed to the City of Manchester Stadium!!

Can't see Wigan staying up. We (Chelsea) will have played Arsenal twice by Xmas?? I wish I could go to the Fulham match on Stephen's Day!

One thing I noticed, the season finishes a week earlier next year. I hope this means gobsh!tes who only watch the Premiership will start goping to EL matches before the WC.

    It's biased I know.

never mind xmas! Arsenal will have played Chavski twice before the end of August with only something like 10 days between the Community Shield and League game.
