    \posting images

    Hi,
I'm trying to post images to valid an argument. I've tried on two seperate laptops, and differnet browsers (chrome and edge). I choose the pic from the source, but when I click upload nothing happens.

If you right click on the image, you can Open in New Tab. That'll show the exact url for the image (as opposed to the webpage its on)

You can then copy that and put it between (img) and (/img) tags (with [] brackets rather than rounded brackets) and it should show.

If you try quote one of my posts in the Best Away Kit thread, you'll see it working.

I've found the popup tool a little buggy too, so I also use the approach PS described above.

If I'm trying to upload something, I put it on imgur. You don't need an account. Then I take the url from there and post it as above.
You can't spell failure without FAI

if the link ends in .jpg or similar theres a great chance it will work. Just copy that into the square brackets structure PS shares.

I'll try the above, but it's a saved image from my laptop, and is saved in jpeg format.
Ah I see John83's solution, I'll try that. Man I really want this to work bad.

Then John83’s post is the one you need. You’ll need to upload it to a host site like imgur

Underneath the space for the URL, there is a box for the option to 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally', and (on my account at least) the default for this box is to be ticked. This box needs to be un-ticked.

I know I had that problem previously.
