Bit late for it this year, but an option to add on LoI TV to your season ticket would be ideal.
Have you ever won the treble?

They'd have done well to develop a basic app for this. Make it mobile friendly viewing, easy to cast to TV, and even available to download onto smart TV. Think they've really missed a trick there and would go some way towards dealing with IPTV services having the run on it.

Taken from an article in the sun (on mobile so struggling with formatting):

    https://www.thesun.ie/sport/football...ive-red-cards/

"Now, though, it has been decided to revert to a season-pass model which is expected to be priced at €120."

Assuming this is just for a season pass for one club?
I wonder if there will be an option to buy all games for all clubs like you could during COVID seasons.

Id say that will be for all clubs, hopefully anyway i enjoy watching matches that involve teams other than Rovers.
I'll definitly be a buyer at that anyway between myself and kids we spent more at €7 a crack last season

€120 for the lot I heard, not just a club pass. It's too cheap imo

Definitely too cheap at that but won't complain about it anyway.

If it's €120 for all the games I would 100% sign up, if it was just for my club for 36 games I wouldn't be sure as I'd be hopeful of attending at least 20+ of the games maybe that's why that price may be for every game

€120 for all club games is a seriously good price. Will be a good uptake this season I suspect.

This is excellent value for people like me living abroad, I can watch a few matches over the week/weekend now as apposed to one or two, lovely.

I bought season passes in the past for Loi.tv

I didn't buy any matches last year.

Lots of time it was a question of watching other sports for free or paying for a match on loi.tv.

I logged onto to LOITV for the first time since the end of last season and not sure if it's new look has been discussed here.

Confirmed on the website that it is 120 for a season pass for all clubs. Match passes stay the same price at 7 and 5 for PD and FD respectively.

Not sure what numbers LOITV does usually but I wonder if they could break 10k season passes at that price point.

They really need to start advertising this somewhere. Under 3 weeks to the new season and I have seen no promotion of it yet or anything official on the ST price.

It's probably a soft launch to test for issues before they launch it proper. Good the prices are staying the same.

Same here, I didn't buy one of the €7 passes, but I will pay€120 for the year.

I like that they are going with both types of options this time - the single pass option will still suit some people

Agree. I couldn’t cast it to my TV last year (was using a Roku stick.) I could get sound but no picture. If any technically minded people have a solution it would be gladly received.

A very easy way to cast LOITV onto your TV screen is as follows:

Take a HDMI cable, stick one end into your laptop, stick the other end into your TV. Load the LOI TV site and game that you want to watch. On your laptop change it to fullscreen, so that it covers your entire TV screen and turn up the volume to suit. Worked for me last season no problems.

If you have an iPhone you can mirror the LOI TV website from iPhone to the TV with the above adaptor and HDMI cable, worked pretty well for me, its the same idea as above just with your phone...

In this day and age, shouldn't have to be doing that. With the amount of smart TVs, android boxes, playstations, and other devices that support apps, that are in most peoples houses by now, an app should be well up on the list of to-do for the FAI in any streaming service.

I would wager that a good app would significantly increase the amount of sign-ups, and viewers on any match night as people watch on their TV's, phones or tablets, much more conveniently to them.

That looks like it might be the answer. I don’t have a laptop, I have an IPhone, an IPad and an IMac . The IMac was what I used last year, for the bigger screen, but it’s in an upstairs home office, and would be far more comfortable to watch games on the TV. Would it have to be a new IPhone/IPad ? I have an iPhone 6, and my iPad is fairly old too, think I have it about 6/7 years.
