    Post The Irish Times

The Irish Times - every day - excellent paper, and ok for eL news. Last week I started playing Sudoku !

    Others:
The Irish Examiner - good for 'outside Dublin' stuff, eL stuff is quite good.
The Financial Times - A wonderfully serious newspaper, and very good for European news.
Le Monde (I speak French!) - Also a serious paper, but sometimes it can be a heavy read.
Others that I get occasionally - Irish News (for northern news), Lá (in a desperate attempt to imporve my Irish!), The Guardian (though sometimes I think that its a bit too red), The Washington Post and the New York Times (both on the internet).

Actually, there's at least one turbine journalist who's an eL fan, he just doesn't work in the Sports section.....

The Star has some of the best Irish Journalists working for it and breaks a lot of important stories, if you can overlook the celebrity crap.

It seems (not 100% sure that it is), that the Star is an Irish paper that syndicates a lot of the celebrity stuff, whereas imo the Irish Mirror and Irish Sun are the UK papers with a few token Irish stories to justify the name. Well that's my read on it anyway...

My favourites would be the Echo (for the coverage of local games)especially on mondays.
    the examiner is good also
the irish times have great writers working for them.love the planet football they have on mondays during the season.
Life isn't all beer and football...some of us haven't touched a football in months
