Yo te quiero, mi querida. Sin tus besos, yo soy nada.

Abri o portão de ouro, da maquina do tempo.

Mi mamá me hizo guapo, listo y antimadridista.

Do you mean you know? Or wondering if I do? I wasn't there, I don't have a clue.

What I'm wondering is whether he is now suspended for the game on Friday night?

Nah, suspensions are competition specific, aren't they? Wouldn't go by what RTÉ say anyway.

    Yes ..

.. all players sent off in EL competition now serve their automatic one-game suspension in their next domestic game. The FAI / EL have implemented this rule in the past month.

Of course, players may be suspended for a further duration if their "crime" merits. Telling a referee he's a joke (Alan Kelly) merits an automatic sending-off and suspension. Punching a player in the face when he attempts to shake your hand (Alan Reynolds) is permitted, as long as the referee is in the shower at the time.

"Shamrock Rovers manager Roddy Collins insists his side will be going all-out to win this season’s eircom League Cup competition."

He told the Irish Independent: “This a competition worth winning. We can’t win the League, and just staying in the division will be our trophy in that, but we can win the League Cup and FAI Cup.”

    D'oh!!!

He gave one of our players a push in the back and sent him into the advertising hoardings; those nearer the incident said it was probably more a punch than a push. Was amazed to see the red myself, but in fairness to the ref, he was right up with play and had no hesitation.

    No idea, I'm afraid.

Incidentally, it was a UCD U-21 team bar one or two versus pretty a fairly decent Rovers side!

    Fairly decent...

Murphy, Molloy, Mooney, Daniel, Gavin, Phillips, O'Halloran, Caffrey - not far off full-strength. We'd five players with no first-team experience and another four with just 30 games between them!
