    Hibs announce Irish dates

Scottish Premier League side Hibernian have announced a series of friendly games against eircom League opposition to take place early next month.

Hibs finished in third place in the SPL last season to qualify for the Uefa Cup, and have received a bye to the first round of that competition as a result of the reshuffle that handed Liverpool a place in the Champions League.

The Easter Road side have announced a series of pre-season friendlies around Ireland between July 3rd and 6th.

They meet Cork City at Turners Cross on Sunday July 3rd before travelling to Dublin to take on St Patrick’s Athletic and Shamrock Rovers on Tuesday July 5th and Wednesday July 6th respectively.

Hibs fans who travel to Ireland will get the opportunity to meet manager Tony Mowbray and his players at an official dinner in the Guinness Brewery in Dublin on Monday, July 4th.

Tickets for the evening cost StŁ75 and include a tour of the brewery, a three-course meal and special speakers. Places are limited to 200.

Yes you did, but did you know you can meet their manager and get a three course meal too?

Thing is .... will Rovers be around to play them ???
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Of course there'll be a problem with the Rover's match, it's only right after the problems with the Drogs and Saints matches

Tickets have been selling really well at ER for the homecoming. Lets hope it all runs smoothly from here on.
